Cacao Ceremony w/ Shadia

Cacao Ceremony w/ Shadia

Start the New Year with a heart-opening cacao ceremony. Together, we will create a sacred space by calling in the four directions, set individual and group intentions, drink ceremonial grade cacao, join in bhakti bliss (kirtan), and journey using shamanic techniques. The cacao is sourced directly from Peru. Following our journey, there will be space for conversation and insight sharing. For more information regarding cacao and ceremony read below.

What is cacao? It is one of the most powerful yet gentle facilitators, teachers and guides on the planet. It is believed to open the heart and remove bitterness, and it's delicious too! Some sources suggest Cacao use originated as early as 1900 BC by the ancestors of Central America, for health and ceremonial purposes. It's spiritual use continued with the Ancient Mayans and Aztecs. Cacao is used as a vehicle for entering euphoric states, releasing negative emotions, and connecting to pure heart energy.

A cacao ceremony is an opportunity to deeply connect to yourself and open your heart, in a safe space with a healing guide. Cacao is a powerful aid in transformational shifts, whether you are looking to deepen your self-awareness, release bad habits and traumas, or step fully into your highest self. Regardless of your path or where you are on your journey, the intention is yours to set; and the cacao provides the awareness and courage to move closer towards your truth.

Shadia is a 500HR yoga teacher and newly practicing shamanic healer. She desires to provide safe and supportive space for others to find healing, transformation, and empowerment. Her shamanic journey officially began only recently, when she traveled to Peru to complete her 300HR yoga teacher training. However, Shadia believes this realization was brewing for many years and was meant to manifest as to aid in her mission to heal others. While in Peru, she studied shamanic traditions and techniques under established shamans. The Quechua Indians of the central Andes, as well as the Four Winds Society directly influenced her studies. Shadia seeks to incorporate various healing modalities, with focus on opening the heart, releasing old patterns, and balancing the right and left-brain hemispheres.
