Intentional Restoration on The Winter Solstice
During this time of year we often get caught up in the excitement of the holidays, making it difficult to unwind. Take time this year to relax & reflect by joining yogis Brandon & Gabriella for Intentional Restoration on The Winter Solstice!
Saturday, Dec. 21st | 7-9pm
What to expect: During this two hour practice you will be guided to turn your awareness inward through gentle movement, breathwork, meditation and journaling. You will be lead through a series of restorative postures, pranayama, and yoga nidra practices… accompanied by a vibrational sound bath! This series is intended to consciously withdraw the mind from external stimuli and journey our attention inward toward ourselves.
About this day: The Winter Solstice is a great time for self-care, self-reflection, and setting personal intentions. This day marks the longest night of the year, which means from this point on the days start to get longer, inviting more light back into our lives. Now is an ideal time to “plant your seed truth” or reflect on your intentions in which you will see through to fruition in the coming year. We will also make time to journal and reflect on a few important questions to consider during this time of year.
Make sure to wear comfortable clothing, bring your journal and your favorite mug to enjoy a warm cup of local herbal tea!
